History
MEDVEL, whose name is a combination of the founder’s last names, was established in 1992 from the ideals of providing an efficient and responsible inland transport service for the free zone industries of the Dominican Republic.
Consequently, MEDVEL Express Services became MEDVEL FREIGHT SERVICES, extending its services as a logistics’ company for many prestigious multinational companies settled in the Dominican Republic.
In search of innovating and increasing its range of services, comes forth the need of becoming international instead of just local providers, offering an integrated logistics service under a Door/Door scheme for high quality air, sea and ground transportation services. Supported by capable personnel, infrastructure, and an excellent fleet of company owned trucks, we are able to provide all types of logistics management within or out of the Dominican Republic. This is complemented by reliable agents and subagents around the globe, including: orders follow ups, customs brokerage, warehousing, load and unload of containers, cargo inventory control systems; tailored to the needs of our client’s supply chain procedures.
